Technicians will perform the installation and maintenance of lifts and other shop equipment for our residential and commercial customers.
Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow directions, and excellent communications skills.
Pay:
$18.
00/hour (entry level), up to $32.
00/hour DOE Schedule:
4-Day Work Week
Responsibilities:
Properly install and service automotive lifts and other shop equipment by following best practice standards and procedures.
Provide outstanding service, builds rapport, and maintains relationships with customers who are in need of lift installation, service or inspection.
Interact with management and other personnel to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues.
This position includes travel with overnight stays, 2-3 times a month with 1 to 3-night stays.
On-the-job training on lift installs/repairs and/or service.
Work towards completion of the Automotive Lift Institute Inspector Certification Program.
Training will be provided, and completion of the program, including testing is required to perform Certified Lift Inspections.
Always promoting the brand and selling offered automotive equipment and/or additional services required when appropriate.
Qualifications Ability to lift 50 to 90 lbs.
Work on ladders and scissor lifts up to 25ft.
Valid Driver's License required.
Comfortable working in all types of environments.
Team player who can also work independently.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Commitment to successfully obtain ALI Lift Certified Inspector status.
Professional experience as an automotive technician, maintenance technician, HVAC technician, or diesel mechanic a plus.
